We aim to provide a nutritious diet for exotic pets such as large snakes, lizards and birds. All of our frozen rats are commonly used for snake keeping and lizard keeping and provide excellent nutrition and a good diet for large lizards and snakes.

Our frozen rats are available in a variety of sizes and weight classes so you can find the size that is most suitable for you. All frozen rats are packed by professional couriers in polystyrene boxes with dry ice to ensure freshness.

Do snakes like to eat frozen rats?

Many snakes, especially the larger ones, prefer to eat frozen rats after defrosting to any other food source. Rats are the natural prey of many snakes and they will instinctively eat rats. Other reptiles, especially large species like bearded dragons, also like frozen rats very much.

How are frozen rats delivered?

What should I be aware of when handling frozen foods?
As with raw human food, handling and using frozen or thawed reptile food, such as these frozen rats, can carry the risk of Salmonella contamination. We strongly recommend storing frozen reptile food separate from human food, wearing gloves, thawing at room temperature with newspaper or paper towels, thoroughly disinfecting any surfaces or equipment that the frozen food has come into contact with, and washing hands thoroughly with soap and water immediately after use.
